  1. I have searched through my parish website, the archdiocese website and this website. I can’t seem to find a way to reach out in times of crisis to speak to my parish priest or any other. This should be corrected

  2. The archdiocesan website has a full listing of parishes and their contact information. You can reach your parish priest through your parish office. Here is a link: http://www.archlou.org/parishes/

  3. I have noticed that the letters to the editor have been missing. Any reason for that. I am a convert and believe American Catholics have become a wishy-washy group lacking direction and leadership. When anything goes, nothing matters!!!!

  4. We don’t post letters to the editor online. But we do publish them in print when we receive them.

  5. This was missed for some reason this week, but Friday, August 9 at 8:00 pm at Holy Spirit parish, youth from over 10 different parishes will present “In the Beginning”, a musical revue of Broadway’s Best Bible Stories. Doors will open at 7:30 and admission is FREE. Refreshments will be served at a reception immediately following the performance.

  6. Do any of our churches offer masses for the Poor Souls on a regular basis? Doesn’t seem to be enough information on these very important masses.

  7. None have been reported to us.

  8. Can’t seem to find the classified section of the Church Record.

  9. Classifieds are only in print, for now.

  10. You can view the classified ads online at erecord.archlou.org.

  11. Hello. I have a very random request. Our parish is hosting a night at the races. We are also playing a “Horse Race Bingo” game, and are searching for one of the old Light Up Bingo Boards. Does anyone know of a parish that possibly still holds Bingo regularly, and might have access to one of these boards. We would love to rent one, but we are not the wealthiest parish and cannot afford to rent one. Any help or advice is welcome.

  12. We’ll post this on our Facebook page and see if anyone responds. If you haven’t liked us on facebook, please do and then you can follow the conversation.

  13. Every parish should have a First Saturdays devotion. This is such an important devotion that Our Blessed Mother has asked us to do and yet most Catholics do not even know what First Saturdays is.

  14. How do we get an item in the Bulletin Board?
